"To help women gain an understanding of their individual risk factors and to provide a plan to help them improve their heart health, Novant Health is providing free heart-health screenings at the High Point Public Library on Tuesday, February 25, from 11 am to 3 pm. The library is located at 901 North Main Street.
Screenings will take approximately 15 minutes, and will include an evaluation of weight, BMI, blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, followed by coaching and counseling with a Novant Health physician or certified nurse.
Guilford Go Red For Women will conduct a drawing for prizes.
This is part of Novant Health's initiative to provide free heart-health screenings for 1,000 women in Guilford County by May 5, when over 700 women will attend the 3rd Annual Guilford Go Red For Women educational expo and luncheon. "
