Nancy Gore, Family Support Specialist, with the Adult Center for Enrichment, has been honored for her extraordinary Public Service. She has been selected by a panel of alumni from the School of Health and Human Sciences at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro to receive the 2014 HHS Public service Award. This award is given to an individual or group who, in his or her role as a member of the faculty (including emeriti faculty), staff, administration, or as an alumnus or friend has made an extraordinary contribution to the mission and advancement of the School of Health and Human Sciences.
In her nomination, one faculty member said, “She holds the student to a high standard while gently helping them developmentally grow and become more grounded as social workers.” Nancy will receive this award at the Alumni Awards and Reunion Reception during the UNCG Reunion Weekend 2014.
The Adult Center for Enrichment is a member of the Well•Spring Services, Inc. family of services, which also includes Well•Spring Retirement Community and PACE of the Triad.
