"Greensboro City Council has selected Terry Wood to serve as interim city attorney. Wood formerly served as Greensboro’s City Attorney from 2008-2010.
“City Council is pleased to bring Terry back into an interim role where he has experience leading the City Attorney’s Office,” says Mayor Nancy Vaughan. “We believe Terry is the right person at the right time because of his familiarity with our staff and legal processes and we’re excited to have him on board.”
Wood retired as city attorney in 2010 after serving in the City’s legal department for 24 years. He was named as Greensboro’s top attorney in 2008, replacing former City Attorney Linda Miles.
Wood begins his interim position on Wednesday, February 26, 2014."
